Lisa's LCA 5K

Lisa's Lung Cancer Awareness 5K ("Lisa's LCA 5K") in Lowell, MA has a fast course, burgers and beer after the race, and a great raffle--but what I like most about it is the warm welcome you get the moment you arrive.  Everyone involved makes you feel like you're a brother or a cousin!

But of course, we came to run.  So run with me now...

I'm taking these pictures as I run...

(Yes, I'm taking these photos as I run.  I don't stop or slow down.  After all, I'm in a race!) 

At the finish line, of course, I do stop...and take pictures of the other finishers.

But the best part of Lisa's LCA 5K is the post-race food & festivities!
